Today it will be presented another techincal term that will be greatly used: ingot.

A ingot, accordingly to CIMM©, it is a "melted block that will be subsequently destined to other fabrication operations, such as lamination and forging. The ingots, therefore, go through plastic deformation processes that aim the production of plates, bars, shapes, etc.".

In the case of the Integrator Project, it will be utilized for the fabrication, going through a machining session and shaping itself in the form of a test subject inside the local regulations (E8M).

The terms utilization is not very dispar on the industry. Bar, however, refers to the use of metal bars in the longitudinal direction (cylindrical bars).
